Being nude in nature is a sure way to create a smile!
Your skin can “see”
In a new study, biologists report that melanocyte skin cells detect ultraviolet light using a photosensitive receptor previously thought to exist only in the eye.
That’s right, your skin can sense light, and very quickly. Is it any wonder our senses our heightened when we’re outdoors in the nude? The particular study, reported in Science Daily, had to do with melanin production (which causes tanning and defense against UV light damage), but it’s conceivable to me that there may be other beneficial reactions to light that we’re not consciously aware of.
Our skin is the largest organ in our body, and it was not designed to be covered up all the time!
And people wonder why I became a nudist! I’m pretty sure I had at least one of those outfits back when I was a kid. :)

Jaxon Brooks: Nudity
I don’t get why people think nudity is such a big deal.
If toplessness/top-freedom was more common, the number of women getting breast implants would drop. Implants look ridiculous and disfiguring when nude…they can’t compare to nature.
Bodypaint is a wonderful test of how people look at clothing. The skin is covered, but not by cloth. The illusion is intriguing. Is the person nude? They are covered, but still showing nothing but skin. Is this an acceptable substitute for clothing?
If there was a magic box you could walk through on your way out the door in the morning that would cover you with your choice of designs…would you use it? Think of it, no laundry and no uncomfortable garments!
What if the model was body painted with the image of the nude person underneath the paint? The mind struggles… :)
It’s Monday…jump in to your week! Nekkid if possible! :)
This is the best way to go hiking in the summertime.
No clothes to get sweaty or wet, you feel 10-15 degrees (F) cooler, and your nude skin absorbs plenty of healthy vitamin D.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that wildlife is less startled by ‘skinclad’ humans and are more likely to just treat them like any other animal in the forest.
Nude conversations among friends bring you closer, the vulnerability of putting your whole self “out there” demonstrates trust.
