Friends “hanging out” at a nude beach in California, 1970’s.
Why isn’t this the new norm in 2012? How can we advance as a society if we continue to be uptight and superstitious about our own bodies?
This young man had the enviable job of selling newspapers at the nude beach. Too bad he had to wear that heavy and uncomfortable uniform!
What do nudists do at the beach? Pretty much everything that any clothed person does at the beach, but they don’t have to wear a soggy swimsuit and it’s a lot more fun!
There’s no reason the clothed and the natural cannot co-exist, if each gives the other the proper respect.

At a time when California state parks budgets are in trouble and parks are being closed, it seems like an excessive effort is being made to pursue and prosecute people who are being nude in a traditional nude beach at San Onofre State Park.
The park has a $15 day use fee…you’d think they’d WANT people to come visit. I’ve been there…it’s in an out of the way area, it’s not like the beach is in the middle of a city. It seems ridiculous to outlaw and prosecute simple non-sexual beach nudity under these circumstances.
